A.B.C focuses on the development of urban beekeeping through educational events and programming in Calgary Alberta. Working with other community initiatives, A.B.C has brought 28 new beehives to the city this past year, Certified 110 Level One Beekeepers, brought 40 urbanites to the Bownesian Urban Permaculture Project, and worked with the University of Calgary Department of Science, Entymology at the Calgary Folk Music Festival! Our goal is to bring urbanites back to their yards and become participants in the urban ecology again!
