What is A.B.C?
A.B.C focuses on the development of urban beekeeping through educational events and programming in Calgary Alberta. Working with other community initiatives, A.B.C has brought 28 new beehives to the city this past year, Certified 110 Level One Beekeepers, brought 40 urbanites to the Bownesian Urban Permaculture Project, and worked with the University of Calgary Department of Science, Entymology at the Calgary Folk Music Festival! Our goal is to bring urbanites back to their yards and become participants in the urban ecology again!

- A.B.C Beekeeping Apprenticeship for 2012 May 23, 2012THIS COULD BE YOU!! This year, A.B.C is pleased to offer a beekeeping apprecticeship program to local urban bee-lovers. A.B.C currently has 10 colonies all over Calgary and is looking to consolidate the colonies to 2 ‘locations’. Inglewood and a rural location near Springbank. A.B.C is looking to expand the 10 colonies to 22 coloniesbees4communities
